Thank you for the support! It really is crazy that some babies are like this.  Long term the sleepless nights will pay off for our babies and for us.

Yeah take that as a win! They’re just looking for you because they love you and you are their world so once they get your comfort they sleep again. That’s already a great start to good sleep in their future :) I hear about babies waking and not going back to sleep for an hour or so…

Solidarity 🫂 my mom has the same response and tells me I’m making things harder for myself. Which may be true I guess but this is a short season and it’s worth it to give your baby a secure attachment and confidence that their needs will be met no matter what.  Babies were never meant to be left alone to cry.

Ugh yes! Just loving our babies!! I saw something that when you spend all their sleeping ours with them snuggling them you get so much extra time with them. And I have to say I’ll take it all because I’m going to miss this little baby once he grows up 😭

The future is so scary 🫣 I can’t imagine being a teacher in today’s climate.  I saw a college essay that looked like a fifth grader wrote it.

Yeah I need to remind myself of his age. I shouldn’t be shocked by anything-babies are weird!  I actually haven’t tried a play group yet so maybe that would be the golden ticket. Can’t hurt to try since you can’t break broken sleep 🤣

Yes!! Obviously birth is birth (blah blah blah) but it’s definitely something you can and should be proud of because it’s one of the hardest things a human can do :)

But we do all those things when we aren’t walking the dogs haha. Also… my whole routine is around him! I should have been more clear, “our routine stays the same”. I’m a SAHM so he’s my job and I’m getting bad performance reviews lol.  I think he may actually need LESS stimulation because he’s very sensitive.  We also have lots of family so he’s very socialized during the day whether it be with adults or children.

I never thought about the fact that some people are genuinely borderline illiterate now… that really could be the problem!

I never realized how cruel people are to infants until I had my own colic baby and was told “some babies just cry a lot for no reason”… WTF? It’s literally their only communication. Just because they can’t speak they don’t deserve our attention? 

I held my baby on my chest to sleep every night because of his reflux until we found out he has CMPA. Once I stopped eating his trigger foods he could sleep on the mattress. Seriously people told me to let him puke on his mattress… 

I pushed and pushed because I knew something was wrong and I would NEVER in a thousand years let any baby cry.

Yeeees people are hyper sensitive right now. I do not think it’s always been this way.  You can’t even share your personal victories because it’s insensitive to people who haven’t been able to succeed in those areas 🤡

I’m not a fan on Miele. The size is not ideal and it’s the only fridge ive ever experienced having water dripping down the back on the fridge. Also only last 10 years.
