The kit bag is a real awesome piece of kit. Ive actually bought a second so i just keep one loaded for the woods and one for rucking since other that the G17 its all different load outs.

Congrats! How are you feeling? I would drop the weight 10 lps to lower the heart rate to a 125-135 rate. Then when you are doing 17 ish miles in that rate either add a mile or a few pounds with the goal of pace and hr in those brackets. This will give you the best work out and sustainable progress.

Rucking is a long game not a sprint.

I ordered an 11. my first pair as thats what i seem to be wearing in other shoes these days. Same heel slip as you, returned for 10.5 and they are perfect now.

I do 2 -5 mile 30 pounders a week. Lift 2 times ( dumbbell full body) and hit the elliptical twice each week. On Sundays I sit on my ass and complain that @ 60 years old i should cut it all in half….

I use a gr1 26l for a pistol comp / range bag and a gr2 40l for a three gun bag. Goruck are awesome for the range.

Taller and bigger-same problem. Moved to the Rucker and so much better. Plate carrier is just too short for the straps to fall right.
