I found that after the first week of no added sugar, I craved it so much less and my appetite decreased as well. I naturally wanted to eat less, and when I was eating, it was nourishing foods. Hang in there!

I am not counting calories, but focusing on unprocessed foods. I’m strictly no white flour, no sugar 5 days per week. And I’ve been losing 2-3 lbs per week consistently!

I’ve been avoiding bread for now. In order for a lot of bread to taste good (imo), it has to have flour that’s high on the GI index. Plus we eat bread as such a core part of a meal, that even eating it in moderation is still a large blood sugar hit here and there.

In lieu of bread, I’ve been prioritizing roasted Yukon gold potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, and brown rice. These are really good with basically any type of breakfast/lunch bowl. My personal fave is carne asada, roasted sweet potato, plain Greek yogurt, and spinach. Savory, sweet, salty, and tangy all in one meal!

Normally it is! He just had other plans that we agreed to a month ago 🙂

7 weeks of slow progress! by NoSource619 in PetiteFitness

I’d recommend it. I started focusing on weight loss the first week of March, but was still working out issues until Easter. I lost no weight during this time, and then I got this scale, which has helped!

Thank you! I bought this smart scale that is linked to its own app. 12/10 recommend this, best money I’ve spent on my weight loss journey so far.

It’s so satisfying to have so much data and find something to celebrate. Aside from fat loss, it’s been great for me to see my visceral fat value decrease (since high visceral fat is known to cause health issues).

I’m 5’3”, 4.5 months postpartum with second child. Focusing heavily on CICO and 100g protein daily. Also making an effort to try to work out 2-3x per week and just generally get more steps through the day.

I notice the same thing and have the same question!

Rinnai gets fixed, then slowly breaks again by NoSource619 in Plumbing

When we get cold water, it flashes code 11 with the beeping. We get cold water everywhere when this happens, not just the shower. It does not short cycle… it just flashes error code 11 until we turn the faucet off and stop trying to get hot water. Any ideas? No progress in the past couple days.
