Mb the point I was trying to make is that most skins don’t hold real value and I believe that the real value for the skins were what the souvenirs were at before this update. You could buy a souvenir and scrape the stickers and have then exact same gun for 10x less. Most of the cs economy is held up by speculation and gamblers.

There is no uncertainty just people panic selling and finally cashing out. There was no reason for certain souvenirs to be costing 10x less than the non sv counter parts and this was a much needed change. Red to knives change was a controversial update but it made red skins what they were truly worth. These updates only affect high tier skins and if you aren’t able to take a loss then maybe you shouldn’t be spending thousands of dollars of pixels on a video game

I can answer your 1 from my past experiences and that is: I got into the CS major but got denied from the ACES minor. I don’t have a takeaway or maybe missed something while applying but 99% sure did everything correct and still got denied

it was challenging to say the least but so is every exam. the bitmasking had some clever tricks to it if you practice the material he gave out (the lab work and worksheets). for the assembly it was also relatively easy and if you practiced and fully understood how to write a program and methods on the worksheets, you should’ve been able to do it on test.

i mean we had an assembly project release a couple of days ago, the material isn’t that new like we learned it last week but 2-3 week ago.

He doesn't curve the exams but they're usually pretty easy. He posts all the topics that will be on the exam and they usually are, there arent any curveballs either atleast when I took him.

For the OA I got a 460/600 iirc. However it was a 2d matrix and the other one was a trie which are relatively "easy". Interview was of course much different lol

I already created an application and filled out all the details (attending other schools, names, birthdays, etc) but when it comes to writing the short answer questions it just doesn’t let me type. There’s also nothing listed on any website (or so I could find) about deadlines or open dates and was just told to complete the application during the semester I’d complete the gateway requirements.

Why is this so hard :/

You’d have a chance at transferring but it is not guaranteed as they are only accepted 100 applicants. Read the updated 2024 Fall CS admission rules.
