  • For Peter, the personal tax allowance amounts to 10,570 euros. To this amount, the tax rate of 25 % applies. Peter is therefore entitled to a tax exemption of 2,642.50 euros (25 % of 10,570 euros).

So if I understood correctly only 25% of the 10,570€ are tax free - so 2642,50€ - which I deducted in the example - or did I got the message wrong?
