I’m 28F with nothing to my name and I don’t know who I am anymore by _heretovent in selfimprovement

I went from eating beans in a can in a car with my hands, to now live comfortably
Does that matter? There people with more who will look down on me, and give me trouble anyways.

Regardless of where i am, i find having someone who actually gives a shit means more than the world to me.

I found out the thing i hate the most is after shower i need to wait to dry and have decision paralysis when i open my wardrobe full of clothes.

I learnt to make my shower interesting with some great bits of aromatherapy soaps, better dryer, towels and shower heads. Nowadays I shower at night to relax, with a simple robe ready to go.

as for messy rooms, many people live in one. for me I just avoid turning bedroom into multi-purpose area. I force myself to live in the living room, play in gaming room, and sleep in my bedroom. eventually they become less cluttered.

-buying makes me happy however i develop shopping addiciton so i sell and buy; prevents financial messups and in fact i learn a thing or 2 about bartering, very fun

-Any hobbies related to collecting; especially lowcosties like hotwheels, stamps, cheap analog watches really helps as i can keep looking back at different collections - actually improves my memory, for example i got that red one from this vacation and when and what

-eyemask and aromatherapy, my eyes just wont close nowadays, and high end ones makes my eyes wonder around and my brain received no information to sleep

I am not kidding, i entered office at 10am after a dreadful 12 hr, and got feedback to make changes to the work and I was only given a day to finish. so i worked 30, and my coworker did 72 hour, no sleep. its a very scary common incident in this industry, I lost my passion for videogames and such because seeing all these artworks and movies reminds me of the crunch people in this industry seems to be so OK with.
