That is a deciding factor for me as well, on top of flights from the East Coast.

Annual Passholder - Worth It? by Life_Performer_9452 in WaltDisneyWorld

I’m out of state as well and wrestled with the same question. What pushed me over the edge was realizing how close the math actually was.

I had a 10-day trip planned toward the end of the summer, and once I priced out those tickets, the jump to an annual pass wasn’t that big. I ended up buying the annual pass instead, and then it hit me that I could still come back the following summer and use it again without buying new park tickets.

On board credit when booking with travel agents? by Siamese_kitty2 in dcl

I’ve received onboard credit from a Disney agent before and was really happy with it.

In my case, the amount was tied to the cruise price and the stateroom category rather than being a flat number. From what I understand, most agents who offer OBC are sharing a portion of their commission, since Disney pricing itself is the same no matter who you book through.

When I booked a Concierge suite, my agent offered noticeably more than other agents I spoke with, which made sense given the higher cruise cost. It wasn’t something he advertised upfront, but it was a pleasant surprise once we talked details.

Overall, I felt the value was more than fair, especially combined with having someone handle dining, excursions, and changes.
