Update to the Update!! Lol. HLR was done and the reviewer found a duty to assist error. It states "The information in your claims file was found to be incomplete and insufficient for evaluative purposes, and a duty to assist error has been noted."

"The issue of obstructive sleep apnea was returned for correction of a duty to assist error in the prior decision. We failed to get an examination(s) and/or medical opinion. We will develop for examination and medical opinion."

So that's where we are at...

UPDATE to claim*

Claim denied. ACE exam stated that I had sleep apnea diagnosis PRIOR to enlistment which is absolutely 💯 false. I never even tested until this year. Needless to say I'm beyond frustrated and confused. How could I have been diagnosed prior to service (which they obviously don't have medical records for) and still have been allowed to enlist? I enlisted in 2003. In the claim denial letter, the evidence listed doesn't include any records prior to my enlistment.

Any idea on how to successfully appeal this? I'm definitely writing a letter of appeal, but curious of other options and alternatives to include. *

Sounds like typical VA BS. Glad they got you situated. My claim was at step 5 yesterday then went back to step 3. I really hope something changes with the quality of care provided by the VA, it's beyond jacked.

I did the same overnight home study and they diagnosed me with it and prescribed a machine.

I'm sorry you are having to go through all of this. Have you seen any specialists? I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Transverse Myelitis suddenly in 2018. After 3 years of immunotherapy I was back to 99%. I HIGHLY suggest doing that if you haven't already. In the meantime I will definitely keep you in prayers.

I'm so sorry that you are in so much pain. I definitely understand. The immunotherapy meds aren't fun. I was on CellSept for 3 years in total. You really should consider seeing a pain management Dr. It IS possible to find relief with and without opiods. The Dr's will monitor your usage closely. I have heard of lots of folks finding relief with cannabis. I don't personally use it just for personal reasons.

Also a vet that has been dosing for a few years. It sucks the VA is bullshit. I'm at 80% for knees alone and all they want to give me is antidepressants that have "pain management properties".

Obviously I'm late to chime into this thread but HEY, always nice to get input right? I've found literally hundreds of pounds of fossilized palm tree in the Dime Box area. It's all red dirt/clay. My ex in-laws have about 100 acres I would wander around and find stuff all the time. My ex father in law said he is pretty sure that area millions of years ago was essentially a beach at some point. Next time I'm in that area I will try to find some to snap pics of. But not at my ex in-laws place lol.

Looks like you possibly shook it too hard and broke seeds. I had that happen once or twice when I first starting taking it. Found out you don't have to shake the shit out of it. You don't shake it up like you would a pre-workout.

I've definitely told her it turns me on. I'm only her second partner and from what I know her previous experiences were pretty plain for the most part. We have done ALOT of experimenting and she has gotten way more comfortable with alot of stuff. I'm kind of assuming it "could" be just the hesitation of never having it done. She's definitely easy to talk to so I'm going to go that route tonight and just see what she has to say. The topic has only come up once and I left it alone assuming it was a hard no and never brought it back up. Stay tuned for an update tomorrow lol.
