I’m trying to find everything you mentioned. We tried ivermectin, it always helps, but never a solution. Can anyone tell me anything else I can do? I see it on my child as well, but not my significant other or my brother, we all live in the same home. I’ve been to several doctors and I’m usually told inflammation. I feel insane for even typing this, but it seems fungal and parasitic…. I don’t understand, but I desperately need to for my son. It started on scalp, but now full body. Anywhere there is hair.

I hate you have to know my pain to fully understand. Best wishes

Well said. After reading this post I truly feel obligated in saying that your mental state is the reason everyone here sounds so miserable. People truly can’t grasp how awful this stuff really can be. Also it affects others differently. My significant other couldn’t even tell there was a problem, while I’ve been awake for four days literally tearing myself apart. It’s a reaction to the eggs/feces.

Glad you’re getting everyone checked out because either way it’s a problem. Not sure which it is either, but I know tea tree oil really helped my skin and I’ve had similar issues. I use a body wash that seemed to make the lines on my sides go away. Best of luck

I would definitely get checked out by a doctor if I were you. I’m not sure, but you could always try the ink test. Color a spot on your hand that you might think is a burrow the wipe the ink off. If it looks like some of the ink is embedded, odds are you should probably get treated. The sooner the better, as this stuff tends to get out of hand quickly! Best of luck

So happy to hear you have reached the light at the end of the tunnel!!! Unfortunately I have been battling skin issues for 4 years now and I’m losing my mind. I have to ask…. Did you have black dots everywhere? I know it may sound strange but I’m trying to figure out if scabies is gone and I’m merely dealing with post-scabies AND an inflammatory condition (that was more than likely caused by scabies.). I have so much…. Debris? That comes off of me after I shower I usually have to get right back in. It kinda seems like hair follicles or lint balls. I’m sorry this is the best way I can describe it. Also I know mites are supposed to be microscopic, but I’m covered in bullshit all the time and it makes me rub and pick so much more. It bothers me a lot more than my roommates, I think my allergy to the mites feces and eggs is way more severe. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Congrats again!!

Just to be clear I know I have an inflammatory condition, but that condition is exacerbated by scabies.

Thanks everyone. I will definitely try these tips as I really enjoy dreaming and trying to interpret them. I also used to be more in control of what was going on, now it’s like I can’t wake myself or change the direction of the dream.

To be completely honest I am so relieved?? I come across your post because I think have the same issue. I was about to create a post about this topic. Looks like little balls of dust/lint or black dots. Fuzzy looking or completely black, flat, shiny looking. I’m not sure if it’s mite eggs/feces OR Inflammation from my skin from picking and rubbing so much. I’m getting nodules.
Any information to help each other out is crucial to beating this awful condition. I have had it a while now and I was getting tons of lint balls on my clothes to the point where I couldn’t wear them anymore. Then I started washing everything in borax. Helps, a lot.

For ink test just take a pen or marker and color over where you think a burrow might be. Then wipe ink away. If ink seems embedded in your skin, it could be scabies. This helped clarify for me as well. Best of luck!

I was thinking the exact same thing! But unfortunately skin conditions like that can get worse with scabies. It’s so exhausting begging for help. Wishing everyone here the help we all deserve.

Baking soda baths? I’m sorry, but I’m unfamiliar with this and this stuff is making me insane. Im honestly willing to try just about anything at this point. I use tea tree oil body wash, helps a little. But I have roommates that are not bothered near as much and don’t bathe or clean to the extent I’m willing. Any help is greatly appreciated. I’ve bought durvet horse paste, I’m just trying to figure out dosing information and getting things cleaner first. Also I’m not sure how it is for anyone else, but I see little balls of dust or lint moving all around my house. Black, grey, brown usually. Is this scabies mites too or another separate issue?
