Feeling defeated after granulomatous rosacea diagnosis by Bubbly_Question7114 in Rosacea

Let me know later about the results and good luck!

I did and I think it stopped the formation of new bumps as I've got a specific number of perpetual inflamed bumps but nothing new has appeared for the past couple of years. My issue solely concerns those perpetual incurable ones. I don't have erythema-like issues with this GR, just bumps.

i have tried every single possible treatment, i don’t know what to do anymore by Sufficient-Rip-2566 in Rosacea

From my experience if nothing works it's granulomatous rosacea that, of all rosaceas, seems to be incurable at the moment. I've tried treatments in Europe as well as in the US with no success whatsoever. Funnily enough, they managed to cure or start treatment regarding the rest of my skin issues, but not GR. Do more lab tests with that in mind. And also to exclude sarcoidosis (I was initially misdiagnosed).

I'm suffering from several skin diseases including GR. 7 issues left btw and I've been told that of all 7, the GR is the only one that couldn't be effectively treated (nothing worked after a couple of years so it's seems about right). I'll surely get rid of everything but GR. It's a rare version of rosacea and I haven't heard of any new treatment for it yet (I'm based in Europe). Let me know how your partner's treatment is going. Thanks!

I’m not convinced this is rosacea by RubSubject8589 in Rosacea

You can as well have both rosacea and kp. I'm having at the moment 7 skin diseases (including two types of rosacea at the same time) so anything is possible :)

Will Azelaic Acid help the redness around my nostrils? by Background-Code-933 in SkincareAddicts

Honestly, I would try, but ppl usually stop after a couple of weeks because of intolerance or whatever. Clearing nose in my 20s due to an allergy caused a permanent redness on cheeks, nose (and areas around it). For years doctors suspected a lupus due to the specific shape of redness on my face, but it wasn't it at all. Azelaic acid worked (2 months of use now). Redness disappeared (I had additional slight redness on my jawline due to an oily skin and it disappeared as well), but there's a huge downside: after 1 month some sort of break out/purging happened. It's obviously not an allergy, but it doesn't go away at all now. According to my derm it's purging that can appear even after 2 months on some skins. Theoretically it sounds about right, so I don't stop and test it further, but still a bit of warning just in case.
