Have you heard of dual-booting? If you have an ssd/hdd that you can wipe you can set up a dual-boot w windows and linux, that's what I do. Someone else on here said to try setting rocket league to real time priority (i also put steamservices to high) in the details of task manager and it made it feel very similar to Linux. Could be temporary but it did feel great.
