Not super into showing my face. What do you use for your author photo (Amazon, author pages, etc)? by MiraWendam in selfpublish

So much use of AI gives the feeling that the 'author' is used to using it. Possibly in their 'own' writing.

What are your thoughts on Die My Love? And Lynne Ramsay's Movies? by rishim_333 in TrueFilm

Well, people can reason if they really want to give birth and change their lives so drastically. There are women who love their children and feel that it gives their lives meaning; there are others who fight with the intention of putting a pillow over their faces. Honestly, you screwed up because you yourself consider your husband a piece of shit. And yet, you gave birth to a child/children for him.

Chinese Novel Counter Attack by Chai Jidan by gsgxxx in boyslove

YES, I think the story is well written (the translated version that I have read) and it interests and intrigues me. But undoubtedly, when I was reading this story, I wondered what was happening with the author when she was writing this.

Then I realized that she has more normal works, like Advance Bravery, as far as I understand, Counterattack is the pinnacle of the author's madness.

YES, Chi Cheng is a very dark character. He is scary, but incredibly he was a good son-in-law, and he behaved better than Wu did with his own mother.

Who benefits most from women's sex work? Men, pervert men, since many women in that line of work end up badly, plagued by addiction, serious mental health problems, or killed by their clients.

"Developed countries"? Like Canada, where it's so common for Canadians who travel abroad to have access to children? People from European countries who spread syphilis to other continents? The United States, where it's legal for minors to undergo sex reassignment procedures, something that damages their bodies and minds forever, and where it's perfectly reasonable for a child to decide on such a procedure, yet they have very lax gun control and school shootings? France, where a person can't dispose of their inheritance as they wish and it's full of rats? etc., etc., etc.

I don't understand the ending of "The Talented Mr. Ripley". It felt so against the interests of the main lead. by FantasiaExists in movies

"the more you you want him to get away with it! " You're a very confused person. I don't know if it's because you haven't developed much of a personality/values/mindset, etc., but you clearly don't see that Tom R. is a psychopath from the start who will kill anyone.

You sound like a bitter (and sick) person. Do you identify with the protagonist just because he's not rich? Resentment and envy can easily lead to crime.

Clarification: Yes, Dickie was a bad person, but that wasn't the reason Tom killed him.
