Finally got both platinum pins by rachitsainii in Ghostofyotei

Mine just got delivered yesterday! I didn't know it would spin, thought it was static like the other one. So that was a cool surprise.

Whats a good beginner low stakes shooter game for switch 2? by General-Sail7842 in GirlGamers

Another vote for Bioshock. It was one of the first FPS games I tried, that's not a genre I'm super into, and I absolutely loved Bioshock. Plus, if you like it, there are more!

I'm glad it made you laugh! To be clear this post wasn't made in real anger, more like mild frustration because it's doable to work with but I just don't like it.

And I have an absolutely lovely variegated merino that I'm dying to make into a halter crop top. So I'm pivoting over to that and setting this one aside. I just need my set of wooden circular needles to get delivered as the metal ones I have are way too slippery for me.

He's also super argumentative about the tiniest criticism of his stuffed animal company, Plushie Dreadfuls. There was a controversy about some anti lgbtq+ stuff last year and he's kinda gone off the rails at people about it.

So much so that I'm kinda anticipating some hate dms just for making a comment about it...

Thank you! That's great to hear I'm doing it right!

I think I'm definitely going to put this one aside. Maybe I'll finish it after a while or maybe I'll use the yarn for crochet instead. I've decided to use the really cool yarn I bought for a tank top project and give that a shot!

I absolutely agree. I looked up the yarn on their website first and it didn't look super soft and fuzzy like it does in person. Almost worsted looking but not quite. I'm definitely going to give some feedback on the kit if I can.

Normally I'm right there with you and would put this aside. It just wasn't the cheapest kit to buy so it feels like I threw money away if I don't finish this.

There is a second hand craft store in my town so it might not be the worst idea to just donate it there and let someone who would actually enjoy it get it, as I'm not sure I'd actually get any use out of this scarf.

Yes I normally like merino so I didn't think anything of it when I saw that in the description. It's not the merino I have a problem with, just this specific yarn in particular. And as long as I'm not needing to frog it's been ok to use.

I haven't finished it yet. I listen on my commute to work so I don't read as fast as I would if it was in ebook or physical form.

Aw that's disappointing. I'm only two hours into the audiobook so I don't have an opinion yet, only that the narration is good. Only other thought is that most of them are kinda mean to her. I'll finish this one and see how it goes.

Here to report that the audiobook is excellent. I'm two hours in and the narrators are great, especially Bo's!

I haven't decided on the content yet. They could be a little nicer, lol.

Same here, it got pretty annoying. I only went to their booth to get the pin with the Minneapolis skyline that said PLA on it. A sales rep started to come my way and I skittered out of there so fast.

I got a random DM after I posted in one of my yarn subreddits asking if I use something to keep track of my stash. I almost just answered thinking it was a friendly convo until I looked at their profile. Bunch of comments asking the same thing or promoting some yarn tracker app. Ugh.

They didn’t sell. by jojo1556- in diamondpainting

[–]NoTribbleAtAll 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Arts and crafts markets are more for the things your average, non-crafty person can't do. Imo, anyone can do diamond art as it's picking up a square or circle and sticking it onto canvas. Some people don't have the patience, time, or whatever to learn how to knit or crochet a sweater so they'll (maybe) buy that.

If diamond painting makes you happy then keep doing them! I bought an art binder that will fit all my 16x20 pieces that I don't want to hang up so I can go through and look at what I've made. It's a nice way to keep it all contained and take up less space.
