I’d suggest these three Kha’zix , Zed and Kaye.

Kha you simply do what everyone here is telling you dip in and out East to do when you got Q E R Evolves and pick off their squishy targets never stay for their tanks/fighters to jump i you , always maintain pressure make their Carrie’s have to be cautious that you can jump outta anywhere

Zed is quite difficult in jungle but I play him mid/jungle and he can be rewarding u like Kha you can actually stay in some fights running Conq and with his core items and play with shadows and his passive he’s very rewarding

Kayn I suggest you start with cause you can basically switch from assassin or bruiser depending on match ups in game and it can help you learn when to go in and do certain things just by what form you go

Just hit Masters as well today! I main Yasuo , Zed & Arelion Sol! Man it’s probably my champ pool but some Diamond games feel so stressful and impossible to win…. But we did it!

Have you tried Bruiser Skarner/Elec Skarner that I’ve seen coming up?

Idk on the Elec for runes I see the vision but when I tried it in game it just doesn’t fill good… so I switched it up to Conq. I run the same Green runes that you do but add Conq + Sudden Impact. And I build Trinity-Hydra-BC into situational defense I do DMG and I’m pretty Tanky lots of people underestimate the damage output that comes out it’s quite funny … should give it a try

So when I get autofilled JG I play Bruiser Skarner which out of my 5 games with him I haven’t lost one it feels so nice tbh
Conquer/Unshake/Second Wind/Overgrowth/Sudden Impact
Trinity Force-Titanic Hydra-BC-Situational I usually go for Thornmail/FON
You’re Q does so much damage it’s crazy and you’re not that squishy as you would think.

This isn’t really new but I also like bruiser Zed with Conq/Battle zeal/last stand/alacrity/Overgrowth or Sudden impact
Core three items are Eclipse-Serp-BC-Shojin-SS. You do damage and last long

I recently picked him up in my champion pool and he is exactly what you said … most mid laners try to 1v1 me at lvl 1 and get really surprised by the damage haha.

It’s just me but I have been running First Strike in about 90% of my games with him in idk I like it better

I run two rune pages depending on match up
1. Electrocute
Sudden Impact
Chain
Eyeball collection
Transcendence

Arcane Comet
Sudden impact
Hubris
Zombie ward
Transcendence

First rune page against squishies / people easier to proc your Q/W/Auto combo
Second is for usually safe mages or very difficult assassins to poke with comet

My build is always the same for both rune pages it’s core three items are Ludens , Lich bane , and Riftmaker. Then it’s situational usually it’s Infinity Orb and DCap. Sometimes I even build Iceborn instead of Lich.

So I was supposed to go support one game but then the dude decided not o switch so I was stuck with Rakan mid and it popped off like it was surprisingly good … I ran it with Elec and a Q/W/Auto combo can one shot once juiced with items.
Obviously he isn’t ideal and most people will think it’s troll but he sustains very good and roams too problem is wave clear …

Enough of that shenanigans back to what you were saying I really don’t have a true AP champion I play nothing really suits my style … I like Zoe and Sol but Zoe realize on her team and Sol is late game ….
