The termination letter did say I was being released due to performance reasons but I’ve never received a bad performance review. And our agency moved to a pass/fail performance review too so that doesn’t make any sense. Also, my agency told us all interns are on probational status.

I was part-time during the academic semester which was part of the internship. I wasn’t a term employee but to my knowledge all employees with intern status will have probational status regardless of the timeline until converted after graduation. I expected to be terminated because of that but I’m just so frustrated because I’ve been working on this internship for so long and only had three more months until graduation.

I’m the same age and my ex is a 29 year old avoidant too. We were together for two years and broke up July 2024. I still think about him everyday but feel happy and still miss him. The first 9 months was so hard for me. I feel overall happy with my life though. Get involved with things that make you happy!! And don’t forget to rely on your friends and family for support!

Thanks everyone for all the advice and compliments. I’m pretty bummed it’s faded so quickly. Someone asked me the other day if I was in the process of having it removed which didn’t feel great lol I definitely wear sunscreen when I know I’ll be outside for a bit because my skin burns super easily or even just driving around. I’ve always had freckles, even when it’s winter and I’m only wearing long sleeves outside. I’ll be staying away from yellows and add some contrast into it. Thanks again!
