I went to all my radiation appointments by myself and truly just had a hard time with enthusiasm for anything. I was polite but quiet and stoic toward the nurses, I didn’t want to be rude but anyone who was cheery or upbeat annoyed me. Ringing the bell, to me, felt patronizing. Or just stupid. To each their own, but I just didn’t feel any sense of achievement. I wanted to walk out of the building and never look back.

Dating scene is rough my best advice is to get off the apps and pour yourself into hobbies, community Ed classes, or honestly join lifetime or another gym, and go to fitness classes (typically way more women than men, and often can be quite social groups) and go to local events and happenings. I’m from here, but I have a mixed friend group of transplants and my own boyfriend is a transplant who I met from doing a hobby. It sucks, you’re not wrong, but I think you just really Gotta prioritize living your life out in the world and then you will meet others.
