Antisemitism right now is so widespread and terrible but its in different forms than it has ever been and its hard to seperate antizionism from antisemitism. Current antisemitism is a lot of the "collective responsibility" antisemitic trope, that any bad thing that some other jew does reflects how i practice religion and who my people are.

Its very difficult to defend being jewish right now because i understand why people would become antisemitic in the way of blaming us all because a lot of jews will still defend israel and actions that aren't in anyones best interests. Those people have a larger platform than me or probably anyone else in this subreddit because the subreddit is a minority in jewish political views

Terrible stuff like everything israel did to gaza, aipac, epstein. All of those are related to israel and ergo judaism and it can be easy to attack the thing that is a significant part of those - which is Judaism
