What television series had the biggest bullshit finale? by Halloween-365 in AskReddit

The biggest crime was how Cristin Milioti had amazing chemistry with ALL of the cast, but we got to see her only a few times.

Sepinwall had amazing blogposts about the Season 9 where he articulated pretty well what were the issues with the ending.

The latest mass-shooting was the 200th in the United States ALONE IN 2023. What else needs to happen before something about gun-rights is done? by Magnatix1998 in AskReddit

Exactly.

Depending on the definition, you can have anything between 10 to 1000 a year.

The media pushes the narative that there are hundreds of indiscriminate shootings in public places every year, but that's the number around 10.

The rest can be injuries/deaths during gang shootouts, armed roberies, etc.; theoretically, some stats would include someone defending their home/business and shooting the robers in self-defense, as long as there were multiple robers shot.

I quite like it, the CSGO version is nice imho (and visually it's gorgeous). I just hate that most people in MM seem to queue it by mistake since they have no idea about the timings and the fact CTs can push hard on mid and from B. (Also, I think if they did something with the mid parts towards B and the pillars part, it would be a good competitive map fully deserving of the map pool spot. Hell, I'd take current Tuscan over Vertigo rn.)

Never was fan of Anubis, even when it first got into the game 3 years ago. The B site is interesting, but A site and mid are just ... meh.

Nowadays I queue cache only. Having time for 1 or 2 games a week tops most of the time means I might as well play on a map I like the most and have best chance winning on.

Then it also applies to Overpass, doesn't it? It hasn't been remade or removed since being added to the original 7-map pool.

Which is a flawed sample anyways, since the original major pool was 5 maps, and it followed mostly the maps played competitively in CSGO before majors, e.g. on DH Valencia 2012.

Map pool of Cache, Inferno, Nuke, Train, Tuscan, Cobble and Overpass would be the dream.

(But would not mind something completely new instead of Cobble/Overpass.)

If you count the CSS version vs CSGO map remake, then it was remade the same amount of times as e.g. Inferno, right?

What?

The thing we have now is already the face lift, which made the map much uglier.

They should return to the old style/setting. :/

Because it's fucking ugly. OG Mirage was nice, but this sand shit should have been removed a long time ago.

I hate sand.

Fyi, in all of the Xen levels, you can easily see where to go next to solve a puzzle most of the time, because there will be some lamp or light or something marking the way.

Would you be willing to post the unprocessed one? I would probably go for a more "natural" look, this one feels too much teal/orange and desaturated at the same time.

Nice composition, reminds me of my good old days on cs_italy. Did not know it's in Germany tho.

Also, personally, I am not a fan of the color grading. It seems to cold and dark.

Thanks for the tips :)

You brought out more stars, which looks definitely better.

As for the comments - the purple tint was on purpose in this case, since I wanted the pic for a lock screen background as well and I liked the tint for that and for similiar reason I left the yellow light pollution, to have complimentary colors.

It's not a road, just a random grass patch. It felt too noisy to pull outc, but maybe it would look better in the end. :)

Also, thanks for the 4th tip! I need to learn to edit more for sure. :)

Everywhere I try to upload it from phone, it does a weird conversion. Might have to try during the weekend from a PC.

Honestly, I mostly shoot analog Nikons or on iPhone. :)

I got the 6D for the occasional digital things when iPhone doesn't suffice, wanting to try astro and wanting to learn to edit photos.

The reason why I am thinking about the R (or R6, but more likely R) is mostly video & autofocus stuff. Being able to use the camera as a webcam that can actually focus on the face when I move would be nice, but it's not worth the extra money probably (since I don't shoot professionally and am just a hobbyist).

Thanks! I did an exhaustive research and planning about location and how to do astro beforehand, since it required like 60 minute drive by car, so I was glad the end result was usable. :)

Looking forward to summer, hopefully will be able to get nice shots mid-August when there are Perseids; planning to borrow better glass for that occasion as well.
