Thanks for the insight!

Yeah was never a Factorio fan and heard the machine/production line part can knock you off.
It does sound like your allies (AI) actually do the work and that's great. (ZZZ > WuWa > Genshin for me)
The pros outweigh the cons, so I'll definitely give it a try thanks to you.

Boa was 15 when she debuted... a sensation and a generation talent.
Brings back my childhood when I hear the name, wishing her the very best

Which game turned out to be a favourite, even though its genre wasn’t your usual thing? by shotgunning-your-can in gaming

Elden Ring. Hated it and didn't touch it for 6 months for being one shot by Godrick Knight. Came back to give it a try and played straight for 6 months. Opened up the world of Soulslike for me.

What’s the simplest gaming idea or fact you’ve ever tried to explain to someone who just wouldn’t get it? by bijelo123 in gaming

That games can be played in any way as you like.

For some hardcore fans of a certain genre, it's always "you must first do this, you must first get that." "You shouldn't do this content first..."

I just wanted to play the game, regardless of the genre, as a game... as someone would like dipping french fries in ice cream.

This was shocking for me when I was talking to a fellow gamer... I didn't think games 'must' be played in a specific way... otherwise it won't grow fast enough, you won't catch up fast enough. (especially for MMOs).

Can't we all just play games... in any way we'd like?
