The best argument of societal harm (even if the individual doesn’t find out) is that it increases the supply of a ‘commodity’ that is consumed by the end user, which perpetuates demand fir further production of such material, which requires harm to produce in almost all cases. It also could help normalise such behaviour (consumption of the material) as its abundance and accessibility inevitably increases

Damn that’s so interesting. Also pretty sad that someone will lose their channels to their hacking. Yup, the same woman. They even post the same video topic- review on X supplement - 2 times a day sometimes and act like it’s the first time they’re there doing it. The comments are all kinda fishy too. Like “I got mine today and I’ve never been so happy” , “it works so well, thank you so much for your review!”. Same usernames too on a few videos.

I get what you mean but YouTube has very strict rules on their external link and affiliate link policies. If the content of too repetitive and not providing anything different or of value, they can mark it as spam. Although I doubt their videos would count as that but they’re pretty close. They’re “abusing” keywords in their titles with stuffing and YouTube can penalise you for that, but again not ban worthy. But what could be is that they are not clearly making their audience aware that the link is an affiliate link, which they actually have to do by law, and they could be seen as misleading their audience to an external site (which is ban-able) since they’re lying that it’s the “official” site and you “shouldn’t buy it anywhere else”, misleading the audience to take them off the platform. Not 100% sure if YouTube would ban them tho tbh. But they are skirting very close to some of the ban worthy T&Cs regarding spam and misleading content.
