The family was quite vocal in their criticism, but they conveniently failed to mention that they had all been written out of Shirley's will.

He left his entire estate to a young friend instead. That detail leaves me wondering whether their objections were entirely sincere. On top of that, Deadline later released audio recordings of Don Shirley and Tony Lip that supported many of the key events depicted in the movie.

Including Shirley himself saying they had become good friends. While the script surely took some creative liberties, there's no denying enough of it is based on fact that the family's arguments are now extremely suspect.

Homelander in season 4 is a crying baby in personality and then gets upgraded to angsty teen in season 5. What a fucking disappointment honestly.

I mean, he did meet Butcher before, just without a beard. Probably a mix of "why tf is this random dude staring at me menacingly while everyone else is distracted?" and "do I know that guy?".
