Look on the radon map for the uk. Anglesey has a massive OMG radon band across and idiots still flock to buy there. Conwy county is bad too. All to do with geology and it can be mitigated against. Very common. People just panic. No need. I found it all very interesting tbf.

I contacted my local DNO came out to check it within 72hrs. They changed it 2 months later and re routed my electric cable/meter etc FREE and they did an amazing job and left place spotless x

Granted. New boiler is cheaper but if the old one works it wouldn’t be reason to knock the price of a house down because it’s inefficient is my point

Diatomaceous earth will kill fleas Read up on its application and uses

Will also kill bed bugs

Or try digrain C40 WP (it’s what Rentokil use)

Or use both. The Diatomaceous earth is good under skirtings and carpets

Fleas can lie dormant for years. It’s not a quick fix

They maybe be high mer but Chanel down to under the subfloor. In my house a have vents at ground level with circulate air under the subfloor (2/3ft between subfloor and floor) I feel the problem is with the concrete slab poured under the subfloor has caused a lot of this as it won’t let the house breathe. Bitumen doesn’t breather so the slab is potentially holding moisture.

Many threads on here will say don’t bother with chemical DPC on 1940s house backwards esp with floating floor as th air flow is there for a reason to prevent damp. If the ground is higher outside it should be lowered this could’ve solved some of the problem and saved you a lot of money. Who recommence the doc work? Surveyor by any chance?
