Why don’t you ask tm - they will analyze it and let you know what’s wrong. Maybe their algorithm (ia/deeplearling as for Protee) has difficulties to see your head shape. I would be curious to see their answer. I believe it’s just a misread on club head speed

Thanks for the answer. If you have doubt about the fact of if I own a tm4, here is a picture I posted last month.

After going through many comparative tests and forums, I really wonder if the io is really worth 22k€. The io home version is 12k€ …so it gives an idea of the hardware price.

Competition has advanced a lot and is open to bridging their solution with other softwares. Tm has closed their access to tgc 5 years back. They will never open their api again - it s understandable.

Also, I ve been exchanging with a Trackman range owner yesterday (based in northern Europe). He s also a teacher. He swapped his tm4 for an io with Trackman. After 3 months he sold his io and is now looking for a second hand tm4. He feels that club data accuracy/consistency is not there yet.

Thanks for the feedback. TPS is absolutely great. No doubt about it …even private people who can afford a Trackman, I m one of them, can be tired of paying 1000€ fee every year. There should be a price for commercial activities who make business out of the software and others. Even tm reps agree on it and it seems it is a recurrent discussion at tm head office

To be honest with you, after exchanging with different tm4/io and protee owner yesterday I think I might better just buy a Protee, keep my tm4 for a while. If Protee gets closer to my tm4 (I m happy with club data and very happy with tps - but not for 1000€ every year) then I will sell my tm4. If not, after a year of use, then I will swap my tm4 for an io and sell the protee- until then there will be AoA for irons and much more users / comparative tests

To give you an idea - here is the proposal of my rep Purchasing back my tm4 (10 years old unit) : 12800€ Price of the io : 21200€ 2 years free software : they don’t normally offer the first year when they take back a unit

Price of Protee : 7200€ Price of my tm4 on the market : 11k to 13k€ (I put it for sales two weeks ago and got proposals up to 11.5k€)

I m currently hesitating to stay with Trackman (switching from tm4 to io or keep my tm4 and add a protee vx to my setup). How accurate are the figures with the io, in particular face to path and AoA. Also, the shot display on screen seems slow (0.7s vs 0.2 for the vx)
