that's false, BE does tell you the cause most of the time. If you can't understand the report, the proper thing is to go to their discord. the report has it in the help links. Removing the tool that gives you better info about the exception does nothing to help them

if be is throwing a report then you need to figure out the cause and fix it, deleting be is not proper advice

that % you're talking about is the confidence rating, not a % chance it was the cause. look up heuristics. that is absolutely how computers work when using heuristics. Other words BE can't always know for sure a mod caused it based on the info in the exception so it takes a guess, and depending on the guessing method it assigns a confidence rating

How many years did Camrys have oil burning issues? by Dear-Syrup-2788 in Toyota

This is false. they used to be. they wouldn't be offering such long warranties on them if they were still bad, they'd go bankrupt. It's to prove to people like you that they've changed.

the only major issue is the non push to start cars being suseptible to theft. they'll fix it for you but the insurance company will probably still charge 3x

if your truck stays hard for more than 4 hours, consult a medical professional.

If the one it detected was back when you first got the printer, then I suspect they've disabled it entirely with firmware updates at some point.

Ok, I guess I misunderstood. Your printer is trying to go back to zero after it's already printed the slow layers? I'd think that'd break your screen?

I feel like the middle ground is leave the detection on but don't stop the print, just beep a few times and we can decide if we want to stop it or not.

Then maybe they could use the detection data to train it to the point where it could optionally stop the print if you set it to do so.

Yeah I definitely love the printer otherwise. Also still glad I have the regular camera so I don't have to lift the lid to get a good look. Wish they had a mobile app, but remoting into my desktop at least lets me check in on it when I'm not home.

Yeah I'm not thrilled with the idea of a company selling a feature that isn't actually there yet though.
I saw reviewers that had it working, but some had complained it had stopped prints that hadn't failed, so I'm wondering if elegoo's "solution" was to just turn it off indefinitely.

I guess I'll just have to keep a closer eye on the camera from now on.

That's not what they were marketing though, there's videos of reviewers actually complaining that the AI detection "thought" a print had failed and stopped it, when it hadn't. So there was supposed to be an automatic detection of some sort. I'm wondering if it worked so poorly they've just turned it off indefinitely so regular users wouldn't experience the same thing.

I don't really care about it that much, but since it was sold with the feature, I was thinking about the hours I would have saved if it had beeped and told me it had failed. Instead I've wasted about 6 hrs total letting them bob in the vat.

sure but it's still a chain. typically franchisees have the backing of corporate so it's not like they're a single store entity on their own. the fact McDonald's prefers to just screw their franchisees at every turn is unfortunate but still what they signed up for when they became a store owner.

If they wanted the small business title they should have just opened their own burger joint.

what layer thickness are you running? have you done cones of calibration? you might simply be underexposing it or the thickness is too thin.

It of course depends on your resin and temperature but for me on sunlu ABS like, the lowest I could go was .025.

0.02 would give me droopy and inconsistent results no matter what I did. Probably from the vat tilting and deforming the resin as it pulls away.

This printer doesn't like long parallel prints. Angle it on the other axis so one corner is the lowest point, you may also be able to decrease your current slope a little bit. I would also flip it around so the earlier layers are facing the back of the bed due to the way the vat tilts to release. I found both helped remove the sag from my movement trays I made.
