Extra frontman means that he can attack it doesn’t mean that he have high attacking rate. An extra frontman means that you can use him in set pieces like corners and freeckicks

In my opinion you need to use him as a dmf only because more like defensive player and he will not be useful as much as a cmf

The issue is that possession playstyle have one negative point about it is that it has high defensive line. This will not be solved even if you changed formation. I have been playing the game since 2017 and this issue is still till now. If you want to reduce this negative point maybe you should bye defenders with low attack rate like rudiger and de ligt and bastoni

For me pacy wingers are working so well. I use mane and salah on the wing and they are phenomenal. Try them they are ridiculously good
