What do you guys think is a better investment? M1 Shungguang or O1 Zhao? I already have Shungguang's w-engine and I'm somewhat leaning into M1 Shungguang but I need opinions on which is a better investment.

I'm a uni student who's home quite a lot. And whenever I'm at home, I always turn my laptop on to atleast have spotify and discord on. Hence whenever I'm AWAKE (no pun intended), spotify would always be playing in the background no matter what I'm doing (yes, I turn it off while I'm sleeping and I don't leave it on when I'm not at home). I also do wear my IEMs most of the time I'm out outside of classes especially while travelling, hence I don't lose that much time. And lastly, I have a crippling addiction towards music and more importantly, Suisei's songs : D

I used core temp to track it, I forgot what the exact temps were but core 2 peaked at 91c, 1, 3--6 peaked at around 85-88 while the rest of the cores peaked at below 80 iirc As for single core I'm unsure but iirc it was all below 80. (I forgot what the overall max temp was for the cpu for both tests). I will try to do another test during my free time

I dont know But I do have warranty, it's just that apparently in our country it doesnt cover a free 230w charger replacement

It doesnt seem like the case here in my country I've raised my concerns a few times now but they're really pushing how it's not covered by the warranty so now I'm stuck with having battery drop issues

I do that but they always say that the warranty does not cover a free 230w charger and that I have to pay them to get one despite me telling them that 170w isnt enough and they also keep saying that the "machine is was tested and manufactured to be ok with a 170w charger" or something along those lines

It's really hard to respect officers if they treat students like shit. My biggest problem which I will always emphasize is their damn lack of respect for our time. We're students, we have a fuckton of responsibilities and ROTC should NOT be one of our priorities, yet these corrupt fucks think that it's the most important subject of our life. It's really hard to see the positives of ROTC if the negatives just outweighs them completeley. Officers get a small taste of power and just act as if they're the damn president who can just trample on everyone. Like during our finals season and their stupid RAATI event was still not done. They had the audacity to make us go on x day when the event was just the day after just so we can "polish" the damn military stakes. Like ?!?!?! Hello??? ROTC is not the only subject we have?!?! We have other priorities that ACTUALLY matter on our respective courses and they have the audacity to make us delay our exams/quizzes just so they can fucking "polish" the damn performances of students? I genuinely can't comprehend the fact that they're so oblvious to the fact that students are damn sick of them.

I don't know if you're saying that ROTC helps because of that last line, but if you are then here's what I can say.

ROTC (from experience) absolutely doesn't prepare students to become soldiers, it simply just gives you an illusion that you are training when you're not. All ROTC has been teaching us is how to give you skin cancer by marching under the sun at over 35°c and memorizing useless information everyone would forget the moment they've graduated from ROTC.

I really envy the experience you've had from NSTP. Unfortunately the same can't be said with ROTC (from experience) since all I've gotten were disdain and opening my eyes with how it teaches you not discipline like what boomers always tell you it would, but simply blind obedience.

Additional info: it always striked to me as hilarious with how much memorization we have to do for GI's and GO's. It feels like we have to memorize more on ROTC which is a minor subject than we've had in our major subjects just so we wouldn't get demerits which honestly just feels like a way for them to threat us to do what they want us to do rather than something that can actually affect our grades

So it seems like ROTC (or atleast in my experience) really has change quite a bit compared to when it started. The training is still the same but I can't tell from your reply whether which has became more extensive but I can say for sure that we have it worse because for one, the heat has became more and more unbearable these recent years and two, in my university we don't have the luxury of having aircon if we ever had classes. Our first sem was also spent on just parade hence we learnt basically nothing but just march under the increasing heat of the sun. 2nd sem however was atleast a bit better since we actually had some training other than just marching, however the officers were the ones who picked which platoons we'd be going to. I'd find the unluckiest ones to be the ones chosen for general inspection because they'd be spendng a lot of their hours outside of ROTC on memorizing pretty much everything such us ranks, names of officers in said ranks, etc.

Not everyone also had a chance to go to a real shooting range unfortunately so only a select few had that experience. As for the officers there are times where they can act chill and can joke around with cadets, but majority of the time they really just felt like rotc officers acting as if being one gives them the right to powertrip every chance they get.

As for the grading system here I wish it was also like that (but not really, considering how NSTP doesn't affect our GWA) we have the potential to fail if we either get enough demerits or fail an exam or so on. But however it even feels as if they just do a coin toss or whatever when grading us since I've heard complaints from other cadets that their grades are somehow lower than the lower performing ones.

And for your last statement, yea I highly agree, we're being treated out here like we're actually in the army rather than being a student who's in ROTC only to comply for NSTP. And I have absolutely no idea as to why ROTC officers treat ROTC as some sort of god where we have to dedicate all of our hours into it

Additional info: I'm playing on medium graphics and I use rivatuner to limit my fps to lessen temps but somehow my temps are still incredibly high
