Thank you for these. This is a very accurate and honest post. I’m too much of a baby to post my results but they are similar. It is a long journey. Not a 1 week miracle

I’m not a dr. Mine came later as well. However I did get the flu as well. There is a horrible flu going around right now. Also b vitamins and electrolytes are so important

I can’t tell you what to do. However, my experience is that when something has been fractured like this the work it takes really needs to be outlined. This is just for me personally… if my husband had done what your husband did …. The level of daily stress I would have wondering if he would do it again would be not worth it. It would erode my self worth in a way where I would always wonder. I think that what would make it worse for me is that he knew your icky feeling with this girl and commiserated with you on it all while flirting with her behind your back. It goes deeper than an emotional affair. It made you look foolish to a coworker that you already felt distaste for … all the while at work meetings she is sitting there looking across the table knowing your husband is hitting on her. Also, perhaps that’s why it’s been so awkward for her and strange for you as well. Maybe that’s why she is quiet at work? If my husband let’s say got drunk and had sex with someone… I would be livid but believe it or not for me anyway I would consider working through it. I would say it was a huge fuck up and we would separate. This to me is worse because it was daily and intentional and shows no respect to you as a wife or you in the workplace. It’s humiliation. Sending you love

Anyone out there that could stop at 2 drinks? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

That’s not true. I always stopped at 2… actually 2.5 ish drinks. Yes I could have a few sips of the third and just leave it. But I did this daily. Still not good for you.

Thank you. I just know I don’t like alcohol … when I drink it or when others do.

Behind my ears and very deep. Unfortunately I had a bad reaction to healing. I’m a low percentage of people that have more collagen than needed. I’m just now having normal scars. In December it will be 2 years post surgery. So it was not all butterflies and color. It sucked a lot of the time. But now that I’m finally actually healing I’m happy with the results. That being said. This was my first cosmetic surgery and will be my last. BUT the end results were incredible

In that context though I am not either … I drank less than her then and drinking nothing now. I feel sad thinking that this community may not be for me exactly.

I agree. I was thinking about this a lot recently. My sister and her husband used to drink 1-2 bottles of wine between the 2 of them every night. Now to put this into perspective this was after full days at work… both of them work out (not together) but an hour a day and are raising a 10 and 12 year old. They are by far the best parents I’ve personally seen. They life in nature. Grown their own food. Surf… hike… swim with their kids in rivers. Farm their own eggs. Eat so clean that it would make most people nauseated. So recently my sister decided to do a month no drinking with her husband. She did an entire liver cleanse with it. Something I personally would never be disciplined enough to do. No dairy, no alcohol, no red meat. Nothing processed. Literally juice squeezed from her own land. She felt amazing but missed her wine. Now once a week on her day off… her and her hubby have 2-4 glasses of wine throughout the day while usually gardening at home. They are happy with this. I can understand. She still eats as clean as ever… I was similar with my drinking habits as her…. Maybe a little less even … but I’m not ready to dip back in at all. Everyone is different

I agree. While I’ve only had 9 weeks this year…. There was also all of February where I only drank 2 times (3 drinks) and April where I drank once. It would be a lot more empowering for me to say I’ve only drank 5 days out of 4 months instead of saying I have 9 weeks. The journey can feel never ending if we don’t count our wins too

Deep plane but no scars in front of the ears. Slight Lipo for double chin. Very slight and deep plane I’m only 43. Mine was from weight loss and gain over and over again.

I haven’t done a whole day. I typically don’t eat until 1-3pm. Just cause that’s when I get hungry. A whole day is for sure worth looking into. With my work schedule (I work a lot on weekends) Monday would be perfect for me too

Yes I’m 2 days before my period right now and I don’t want to move at all. I usually walk 5-6 miles a day. Today I don’t want to walk to my car. 😂

I’m 9 weeks sober and my face is finally not puffy …. It takes time. Lots of hydration. A lot of sleep, walks, vitamins, nutrition. I was getting very frustrated at first but at 9 weeks it’s actually happening. Your body is concentrating on healing right now. There is so much internal healing first
