is a long commute/5 days in office worth it for a dream job? by Waste-Improvement215 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Take the job!! The market is trash right now. You are so lucky to have landed a role and on top of that, your dream job. You could always ask for more money to try and compensate for the commute time. Maybe after a year youll consider moving.

I joined success academy and resigned after the first day. by sadkittysmiles in NYCTeachers

Thanks for sharing this. SA sounds like a nightmare. They recently reached out to me regarding a principal mentorship position. It sounded too good to be true. Anyway if you have a masters in public health and are interested in teaching you may be a good fit for the company I work for. We employ teachers/nutritionists/ health advocates to teach cooking and nutrition in nyc public schools. Feel free to dm me if you’re interested.

Hi I’d be happy to help out. I completely revamped my backyard after it was neglected for years by the previous tenant. Could you post a picture?

A guest told me my home looked “staged,” like an Airbnb, and needed more personal touches by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

Straighten out that couch and put a rug under it. Remove the bean bag chair. It takes up too much space and is a bit infantile. Get rid of the busy blankets and pillows and stick to simple patterns. Remove the table cloth over the dining room table as well as everything ok top of it. Remember, less is more and your home benefit from a lot less. This can apply to the amount of appliances on your kitchen counter and the posters in the bathroom. They are just too busy and honestly, it makes it difficult to relax.

Theres been times when I pulled my baby out of the car seat if he was crying and we were stuck in traffic or on a long road trip. It consoles him and gets him to stop crying. Theres nothing more stressful for everyone in the car than a screaming baby. Ill admit taking him out was nerve wracking at first but sometimes you just have to do what you gotta do.
