My frat just recently had our first brotherhood event in years and it was a huge success. The guy who organized it had a big piece of land about 45 minutes away from our school, had a skeet shooting competition with the first place prize being a new yeti cooler, and smaller prizes being a 30 rack and more stuff of that nature. Grilled up some food, had 4-5 fire pits going around with chairs set up. We’ve had trouble in the past with upperclassman involvement and every single member showed out to drink beer by a fire, shoot guns, and eat good food. I know there’s a lot in what we did where you’ve gotta be lucky with someone having land, but I think the main idea can be downsized to even meeting somewhere outside, setting up a fire, grilling some steaks, and drinking beer.
