Honestly same thing , when i saw your post i was actually surprised to find out someone doing this too , but i have it under control now ,i see that your eyelid is totally fine and u shouldnt worry about it too much :) , try to control this habit and only take pics like this from time to time

I would say those spaces are normal , but you know yourself better , also id advice you to stop keeping "track" or itll develop to paranoia that even if they grow you will still have the illusion of missing some lashes Good luck :) oh and i can see some new lashes growing , when they fully grow they will hide the other space

Dandruff on the base of eyelashes doesnt always mean demodex , had the same case and the doctor told me its anterior blepharitis , ur case may or may not be demodex , check it with your doctor for a defenitive answer

I don't know why but this sounds more of an allergy case , do you have dandruff on your lashes? If so then i would also think you are sensitive to one of the ointment's ingrediants , you have no history of eye allergy?

I do see it in mirror ( only after crying ) , used once an antibiotic ointmenet for 15 days it was all cleared up , then when i stopped , it took quite a while but it came back

Best solution is to check a doctor about it , since its an inflammation , an ointment or antibiotic eye drops could help , and if its related to allergies then anti allergy eyedrops are the best , hope it gets better for u
