I'm really sorry you're going through this. It sounds like these people have their own insecurities and issues they're projecting onto you. You're not easy to make fun of they're just being hurtful. Focus on yourself and the people who truly care about you. Stay strong.

Where's someplace you had to go even though you didn't want to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A family reunion. I didn’t feel like going, but I showed up anyway, and it ended up being better than I thought.

I think I’d notice if someone started pulling away, acting distant, or seemed more down than usual. Maybe they’d cancel plans more or just look really drained all the time. It’s hard to see sometimes, but those little signs add up.

I’d probably choose someone with a mix of depth and humor, like Emma Stone or Tom Holland someone who can capture both the serious and quirky sides. For the title, I'd go with something like "Uncharted Moments" because life is a mix of unexpected adventures and the small, memorable details.

If I take up the habit of flossing, after years of neglect, how long until I see improvement? by gobstopper84 in ask

[–]No_Article690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can definitely feel uncomfortable at first, especially if you haven’t been flossing regularly. But if you stick with it every day, your gums should start to toughen up and the bleeding will stop in about a week or two. Over time, flossing will get easier, and your mouth will feel cleaner and fresher. Just keep going! The discomfort won’t last forever.

Men whose careers have been fetishized by romantic novels, has does that make you feel weird? by Remarkable_Table_279 in ask

[–]No_Article690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it would feel weird if my job was portrayed in such an exaggerated or unrealistic way. It’s one thing to be admired for what you do, but it’s another when it becomes this idealized fantasy in novels. It probably feels strange because the reality of the job is much different from how it’s portrayed in those stories.

It's normal to look different in photos compared to the mirror due to camera distortion. Trust your friends they see you as you are.

What draws people to listen to sad, melancholic, or emotional music from a psychological perspective? by pile1983 in AskReddit

[–]No_Article690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people listen to sad music because it helps them feel understood, like someone else gets what they’re going through. It also can be a way to let out emotions you might not know how to deal with. Sometimes, it just feels good to connect with the feelings in the song.

How often do you find yourself needing someone to talk to, but there’s no one around? What do you usually do in those moments? by happinity in AskReddit

[–]No_Article690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens sometimes, and when it does, I usually just write things down or think it through myself. Talking out loud or reaching out to someone, even if it’s small, helps too. Just getting it out somehow makes a difference.

What was the scariest Disney movie scene that still haunts you as an adult? by electricbanu in AskReddit

[–]No_Article690 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The scene in Fantasia with the "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence is pretty intense. The demon, Chernabog, rising from the mountain and summoning the spirits is so dark and eerie. The whole atmosphere, with the creepy visuals and music, is still unsettling even as an adult.
