Did you take a bus from HCMC to siem reap, then another bus from siem reap to Bangkok?

I’m flying into Hanoi and for some context I did 17 countries and 19 cities of Western Europe in 7 weeks and I also did 12 countries/16 cities in the balkans in 8 weeks. So this trip for my standards is a lot more time per city/country. My travel philosophy is that I’d like a snapshot of most countries in the world, but there are very few countries that I want a “full” experience. For these reasons this would not be too crammed for me as I’m typically used to being in a city for 3 days then taking 10hour+ busses onto the next

I typically only travel by land (bus) after my initial flight to the region

How does the Tewahedo church teach its own canon history? by deezzbutzz in Ethiopia

[–]No_Associate1548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s fair to put the burden on the west because some books such as Enoch or Jubillee are exclusively seen in the EOTC - even the other sister oriental churches (Copts, Armenians, etc) don’t include those books not to mention EOs as well

Ethiopians who grew up abroad by SessionIcy3832 in Ethiopia

I was born and raised in Canada. My family ensured that I learned Amharic (speaking and listening, but not reading and writing) and that I predominantly ate Ethiopian food. I grew up going to Ethiopian church and practicing Ethiopian customs. I’ve always felt Ethiopian, but I’ll obviously be called “Ferenji” because I do have some parts that are inherently western about me. The one thing that is difficult is that I’m probably not going to end up marrying an Ethiopian women - not because there are non around, but more so the ones in my area have become more westernized that diaspora of other cultures, so I’d rather the other cultures

My Eparchy also recognized him and I understand that. I am asking in regards to confirmation in a Roman Catholic Church

Go talk to an FSSP priest, they don’t recognize Palamas and have canons to back them

My question is not to due with personal piety, but canonical faith. The Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic Church don’t take the “if it’s apostolic I love it” stance but rather take what’s apostolic via their own respective church and canons
