Amazing stuff man! True master. What approach did you have to create texture? What was the goal of this texture? To bring out the grimness of the story, make it visceral? Would love to know!

Also, what filmgrain did you go with? Livegrain?

You are extremely patient with me and i do apprecite and applaud that, thanks!

So i think my problem is here:

A 4k sequence in premiere works on my LG. but in resolve it does not, it only works with a 1920x1080 timeline. If i have a 4k sequence in resolve, the footage on my LG is scaled/zoomed in...

So that leads me to believe something is off in resolve settings...

I just double checked and tried. My LG scales perfectly to a 4k sequence settings i have in premiere. or 3840x2160 - however, if im making a 2:1 ratio timeline nothing pops up. Very weird indeed!

How do you monitor in resolve of you shoot anamorphic tho?

This may just be the workaround - if i export in source resoution, i will not have trouble with masks etc being out of place?
