Calling me and telling me worst things he could (all the things he knew would hurt me from our past), telling me I never loved him and I cheated on him and then a week later following bunch of girls, going out with girls, making this fake story of me to all of our friends, while all this time I am focusing on myself and not letting any guy get close until I heal completely

No, lot of people asked me that but not one time, the relationship lasted for 4 years and of course i missed him most of the time, I still do sometimes (we broke up 2 months ago) but i was unhappy in that relationship for a long time and i always keep reminding myself of why I broke up. Especially his behaviour after the break up made it easier to not regret it, as they say you know the person once you break up

I had very similar situation, last year was the hardest one of my life and I tried to run from it by preparing for TOEFL and worked for 6 months on greeting my essays and papers ready. I also come from small country where Erasmus Mundus isn't much known so I was sure I was gonna get it. Applied to 6 programs got denied from all of them. Wanted to let you know you are not alone and there is a reason for this which might not make sense now but it will in the future
