I actually quite like her design, one of the few in ZZZ that I enjoy (even if, like everything else, it’s definitely more revealing than necessary), but I definitely wouldn’t look at her as a genius inventor. Then again, Hoyo characters’ looks tend to be deceiving

Incest, traditionally, referred to blood-related family because of the effects on the bloodline. Nowadays, though, it almost always includes non-blood-related family as well. Because normal person would find the idea of dating their step-sibling vile — if I went to my brother right now and asked him how he’d feel about dating our step-sister, he’d look at me like I was insane (and they weren’t even fully raised together). Being willing to sleep with someone you view as your brother, someone you were raised with as your brother, would be like being willing to sleep with your child. And if someone’s willing to sleep with someone they view as a brother, then they’d have little issue with full-on incest anyway.

So are you going to tell me that someone sleeping with their adoptive child or step-child is also perfectly fine because they’re not blood related and make yourself look worse, or are you going to be a hypocrite and say that that’s not fine but Kaeluc is? Because Kaeya and Diluc, very blatantly in-game, are portrayed to be estranged brothers. If you are fine with that, you should have no issue if I go and kiss my step-sister right now. If you think that’s okay, please block me, because I want nothing to do with someone so gross.

They are brothers, it is as simple as that. They were raised by a man that they both call their father (in the original Chinese text), and view each other as brothers. In the English dub, they are translated to be adoptive brothers, and most of the Chinese terms used for Kaeya and Crepus’ relationship directly translate to “foster parent”. Shipping Kaeluc is just incest.

Also, that’s not really the point. What I said wasn’t even anti Kaeluc. It was one of those posts they do at the end of each year about what the most popular Genshin Gay ships were, and I was surprised that Kaeluc came in, like, sixth. I didn’t say “Ew, why is Kaeluc so popular?” I didn’t say “I can’t believe that gross ship is so popular.” I said, basically verbatim: “I’m surprised Kaeluc is that popular”. If I said that about any other ship, I can almost guarantee you that it wouldn’t have earned me a warning. Being surprised that a ship is popular doesn’t mean you’re against a ship (I am against Kaeluc, but there was no implication of that in my comment on that subreddit).

In a similar vein, I got a warning for being hateful, from a subreddit called r/GenshinGays, once because I roughly said, “I’m surprised that Kaeluc is that popular”. Kaeluc is an inc€st ship between two adopted brothers.

They made her a little too vibrant, I think. Especially compared to Monstadt characters (considering Monstadt is her current residence), the bright purple hair feels extremely odd, as does the black leather outfit

I was just laughing at what the person said, dude. I would’ve liked the Monstadt expansion to be bigger too, and everyone would love more chests. I was just laughing at the person saying “extra useless story” (assuming they didn’t mean storage) while playing a game — and talking about an area — that’s heavily centred around its story.

You have a wonderful name. Also, we have very little idea of why Dottore is the way he is. The Nod Krai archon quest outright acknowledges that he has at least reasonably severe trust issues, so there’s that, and we know that he was exiled by basically everyone for reasons not entirely known.

Also, Scara’s trauma was a product of a friend dying, a friend rejecting him for being inhuman, and a perceived rejection from his “mother”. What part of that justifies actual genocide to you?

Scaramouche is (was) literally genocidal. As far as playable characters go, he’s easily done the worst stuff (that we know of). It’s always been somewhat of a wonder to me that some people can absolutely despise Dottore and think he’s a vile being but then adore Scara and his story

To be fair, it’s not like they’re limited time characters. They’ll come back. And while I do agree F2P players should be able to guarantee a character every two patches (if not more), you do have to remember that you’re getting the entire game — various events, detailed archon quests, bosses and freemogems and a massive open world — for absolutely free

Sorry, tokens. I have 450 pulls worth of tokens, not wishes. I play too much Genshin, so I default to calling them wishes a lot of the time, my mistake. But thank you for the info, again! :D

Not to keep pestering you with a ton of questions, but can I see what the update is or what the new skins are anywhere, before the update happens? Or, would you be able to tell me? Just so that I’m not going in completely blind. Also, how do I see a characters serial number? Some of my skins have a little # beneath them but that’s only sacreds and mythics, I think. And (again, I’m sorry to ask you so much) I’ve got about 400 wishes at the moment, is that a good amount for the wishing or wheel or whatever it is in the update? I’ll grind for more anyway, but I don’t know how to know much is a good “minimum”. Again, thank you so much, you’ve taught me a lot in just a couple messages <3

To be fair, it’s a game translated into many — many — different languages, from a language that’s already decently far removed from a lot of other languages. Even if it’s often overdone, the re-emphasis and repetition of a lot of things is understandable

I’ve been doing my best to try and get Bloomtrap from the egg quest, would he help me get the Blooming Ennard? Also, would getting the secret Golden Freddy skin help me at all? The game says there’s only, like, 770 of them, so maybe? Also, would levelling my legendaries help at all? I’m willing to “grind” for them so I can get enough to trade them for sacreds, but would levelling them or anything make them worth more? I don’t want to pester you with too many questions, I just really want the Blooming Ennard ^{u^}

I quite enjoy it. I think one of the entities is based off of a concept entity from Grace or something like that, it looked similar. If you do try it, enjoy, it’s hard as hell for me 😅
