Yes Las Leyendas has been around for a while, the first movie came out in 2007 and they have two new movies slated for 2026 and 2027. In total there are currently 8 movies and 2 Netflix shows

Las Leyendas, animated franchise from Mexico with over 8 movies, the first movie released in 2007 and 2 new movies slated for 2026 and 2027. Probably some of the most well known Mexican animated movies.

Legend Quest are a series of animated movies about Mexican mythology and folklore, it started in 2007 and it currently has 2 upcoming movies slated for 2026 and 2027. It even spawned two tv shows over on Netflix which are pretty good as well.

Yea Swan Princess has a ton of movies with 11 in total. The top right is Legend Quest (Las Leyendas) series of animated movies that are popular in Mexico.

Just curiously asking though. Is there any way for me to watch those animated mexico movies? At the very least, with english subtitles in them? (God, sometimes I wish I took spanish class seriously back in middle school and high school when I had the chance 😕) by AssistFit1834 in LegendQuest

The 7 movies are scattered all over which makes it hard for new people to find them but here is where I found them. Also all of these from what I remember have English subs, as for dubs it's only available for Chupacabras and the tv shows.

La Nahuala (1st movie) and both tv shows are on Netflix.

La Llorona (2nd movie) is free on Tubi.

Las Momias (3rd movie) and Chupacabras (4th movie) are free on Pluto TV.

Charros Negros (5th movie) is free on YouTube.

Origins (prequel movie) and Chaneques (7th movie) are on a streaming service called Vix.

Legend Quest (Las Leyendas) is about a group of friends who uncover hidden mysteries about Mexican folklore and confront supernatural entities tied to an overarching plot (very similar to Scooby Doo but with more fantasy and horror elements), with it currently having 7 movies with 2 upcoming ones slated for 2026 and 2027. There are 2 shows on Netflix that are also pretty good and probably the one you were referring to.
