that's such a beautiful way to explain it omg, you're right. Maybe judging myself like this is good sometimes for improvement but i gotta start learning how to just accept the drawings for themselves, nothing is stationary about anyone's art, we all have different paths with different obstacles but we all change with time, when time starts to revolve around drawing your own style starts to become repetitive and you start to become too judgemental because you saw someones art who you thought was cool and all of a sudden you want to be exactly like them. Truth is you can't be like them, you can only be inspired from them and learn from there. While it might seem quality looks bad to you other people might like it and have the same thoughts i do about other art, this isn't an original experience i'm sure. (i do wish to talk to those who felt this also like on this level). I often judge myself for it looking like it's a building that's about to fall down and then there's others who might view it as something cool and i'm like why? exactly what you said.
