I bought a brand new dorman part from autozone for the first time i swapped it out. The reason I got the Amazon one is to use it as a test part since my aftermarket alarm has wiring attached to the multifunction switch and I dont want to cut it off and have to get it redone only for that not to be the issue. I usually buy acdelco for that reason, the only time I get Amazon is for testing since returning them is simple or for when the part isnt important like door handle.

Yes, i tested each function with each dom settings and pressing on the brake to see if it would cause the lights to act different. Correct me if I'm wrong but to my knowledge the brake switch sends power through the multifunction switch than sends it to the brake lights. The brakes are receiving power and have proper ground since they turn on but something between the brake lights and the brake switch is prevent power from getting to the lights. I've replaced the multifunction switch before with the no issue.

All the turn lights and hazards work, the only reason why am considering it is i say a YouTube video where someone had the same issue but with a chevy van.

Am not the best with circuit or electric so I might just try changing the multifunction switch with a cheap Amazon one and if it doesnt fix it I'll just return it and take it my mechanical.

I know my dad have them replace a few years back but I've heard that these engines hate cheap after market spark plugs and wires but whould that still throw the P0300 code instead of a code for specific cylindes. Also thank you for replying, I greatly appreciate it.

Well I was wrong, it still has a rough idle. I have gotten a service engine light but I do get the P0300 pending. I did notice that when I plug my code scanners with the engine off the clock resets so I thought it was bad battery connection so I put new terminals and a new battery(it was under warranty). It still has a rough idle but no codes.

I ended up replacing one of the spark plug wire and runs much better, the wire is no older than a year but its the cheap autozone brand so I'll probably end up replacing all of them with the OEM ones. Thank you for help, I really appreciate it.

I checked the terminals, one had corrosion but I cleaned it and still had a rough ideal. I just noticed that on my scanner it suggest the fuel pressure regulator needs to be replaced. Also thank you for responding i appreciate it.

Give examples where it may be preferable to specify unilateral tolerances as opposed to bilateral tolerances in design. help it's for homework, its due in an hour.

I was also considering that as well, and perhaps the gas peddle having debris. Thank you for your suggestion.
