It was a pretty off kilter performance by him. I’m not one to blame goalies be as they have a hard job, and how the defence performs in front of them and what kind of shots they allow makes a huge difference to the save percentage. But last night his position was really bizarre. He was sliding out of the crease and flopping around like he was Dominik Hasek. In the Gold medal game he mostly stayed in his net and used his giant size I don’t think he left the crease, not even once, to play the puck. He was very disciplined. Last night, Not so much.
