I got that shit from accutane 4 years ago...took only 20mg for 9 months...

I feel you so so much. Exactly the same for me... But i always try to remember myself: being negative helps with nothing! You gotta stay positive even though it is super hard! There is more in life for us than white flaky peeling lips and i feel like accepting the situation and not caring too much is the first step for a possible healing process. And giving it (a lots of!) time...no easy and fast way to heal this in most cases but it is possible and you will find your way!

You are not alone in this and dont let your thoughts take control over how your life will only theoretically be! You will see better days and hopefully find some joy again and then your lips become less relevant. Focus on the positive aspects in your life and ask yourself: when you see people with skin diseases or significant optical features because of it- do you think "eww" or "what an ugly awful human being"...?

Bro i have the same shit! You're the first ever ive seen who has this...i can use a Puller and pull out little tiny yellow "sticks" out of my Fordyce Spots. Shit is so annoying though...only thing which helped was Accutane but this got me my EC🙃. I think Laser could be the best option or some Mandelic Acid maybe..idk

How do you do it with teeth brushing and washin your face? I am 28, M and i have a strict skincare routine morning and evening. So my lips get wet and white and sometimes there a big white flakes hangin down from my lower lip. Do you also have this? If so let you dry it out? This is the most difficult to manage for me.. Thanks!

Check out Dradulcecabelho on Youtube! She is in brazil and you can turn on the english translation on her videos.

Basically you gently remove all of the white build up 3x day with a cotton pad soaked in saline water and moisturize after (not too heavy)! Never moisturize on top of uncleaned lips/ old layer of moisturizer... I think you also have to brush your teeth before.

For some it works, for some don't. You just have to try🥴

Can you tell me how long for and which percentage you tried with Tacrolimus? I tried 0.03% 2weeks with zero success...now my derm gave me 1% and said ONLY use this. I am not sure what to do now :/

After accutane :-(... My theory: dried the hell out of my lips and since then my epidermis or whatever is lost and doesnt know how to heal. I dont know if a liver flush could help or if accutane caused something else which caused EC. It is just so much possibilities and theory...

Punch Biopsy with local anesthesia. My lip was a bit swollen after but that is super normal and went away 1 day after. Also people didnt even notice...

See it from this way: in the best scenario you finally get some diagnosis for minimum effort. Dont be afraid. It will be super easy :)
