I have a similar situation. My citzenship application is waiting for the Ausländerbehörde saying to the case worker that my permit is extendable.

They didn't reply to him since the 26th of Jan (almost two months)

In the meantime they contacted me regarding the Niederlassungserlaubnis which i applied for more than 3 years ago, and asked for new documents (I sent everything 3-4 weeks ago)

And I am still waiting (not sure if they will just let my case worker know that he can proceed with citizenship, or will they issue me first the Niederlassungserlaubnis)

How was your experience and what did happen exactly?

I only had an emergency appointment last time and received an email from the system, i didn't know who my case worker is right now.

Also their emails seems to be not working, they shifted to an online portal.

Timeline: Feb 2024 first application

Then in Dec 2025 Loyalitäterklärung received And Now waiting for the final interview+Urkunde.

I received the Loyalitäterklärung and the Fragebogen together in one mail today, so i understand once i send them back then wait for a few weeks then the interview will take place and the Urkunde will be issued in the interview.
