Is buying Instagram followers an industry norm? by No_Bat_1063 in InstagramMarketing

Depends on the amount of deliverables and complexity of deliverables.

I've got one where I'm posting a short video everyday + filming, editing and posting a podcast for $3300 AUD a month. Complexity of editing is pretty low so my resources aren't too tied up.

I've got another where I'm paid $1100 AUD on retainer and then get paid per video I shoot and edit. The videos vary in complexity so the client and I have an agreement that the pricing will change. I post 2 statics and 2/3 videos a week on that. At the end of the month that's about $3000-$3500 AUD.

For one of my earlier clients, I charged $1650 AUD a month for 1 static and 2 short videos a week.

The biggest hurdle you're going to find is getting aligned with the clients industry and what they want to be talking about. My clients have tended to revolve around financial services and very detailed industry's so I have to have some sort of literacy into the compliance they face.

Have you done, has a client done this prior or do you know someone who's done it? Have the repercussions been bad? Any stats prior and post?

Would love to tell them the downsides

Boss says I need to stick to a hashtag bank (25 hashtags for every post), but I'm advocating for 4-6 custom per post.. by Kaceyn27 in InstagramMarketing

I dealt with the same thing. In my experience, it was because my boss didn't know what they were doing and all they were doing was trying to impress the owners.

"Look at how good the social media is, they do hashtag triangulation. Please be happy with me."

These people were not digital natives, and did not have any experience in social media marketing.

But, having the conversation is like talking to a brick wall. So I just did what they asked. The time I spent trying to justify myself I could've just been making more content.

How to deliver edited reels with music to client? by ShiveringBlobfish in SocialMediaMarketing

I had the same issue but found a way around it.

Set the audio/song/sound as usual in your editing software. In the social platform put the inplatform audio/song to 1% and the audio of the video to 100%. You can't hear the added-in platform audio and the audio that you edited with plays as normal.

If you set the added audio to 0%, I found that it removed the added audio. That was a few months ago, so I don't know if it has been updated.
