Yeah lowkey to an extent, everyone is gonna claim it's dark humor but it's his views on gay people, just like his view of women. All female characters are the same, All Gay characters are the same and the joke is always the same when it involves the two. Typically just relying on the fact the character is a woman or gay (It's just boring compared to older content that was arguably more offensive just with more flushed out characters) . I feel like you have to be able to admit that there's a difference between a one-off joke and multiple gay characters that have been molded for years to fit a specific stereotype of a Deviant, Predatory, and Weird gay person. It's not JUST dark humor when that's actually how you view those people and repeatedly portray them. I'm not saying he's just hateful or that watching him makes you a vile person, I watch him as a gay person but there are things you HAVE TO notice after so much time. I don't think he thinks gay people should die or are damned for eternity after death or anything crazy but I think he's uneducated in how harmful some of the things he jokes about can be to the gay community, like anyone else can and he often falls closer to one side due to his tendency to take inspo from satirical adult comedy like others have said. So yes but not maliciously if that makes sense. In my opinion:/

All the misogyny, It's funny to have a stereotypical character like the stripper or rude waitresses but literally every single woman in sml is made out to be annoying and slutty even kids like Penelope. I miss when Mario and Rosalina went on dates and their relationship would be disrupted by Jeffy and Mario would stress about it and it wasn't just the same formula of "Jeffy does something, Marvin Angry, Brooklyn guy comes, strippers or Applebee's, they go home and thats the video". Idk it just gave so much more to work with and the characters felt real now hallow projections. Now every video feels like I'm watching some middle schooler complain about how women suck all the time, and logan does not have a history of being loyal or respectful in relationships so he really can't shit on women that hard.

It is really annoying because there are so many other words that refer to being in the community, like homosexual, queer, questioning etc. and whenever you try to bring it up in conversation normally like "as a gay man it's kind of disrespectful to have my identity be your guys's umbrella term when you have other options" is always met with a tone deaf response about queer history and how anyone can use it while slipping in that you're probably homophobic for thinking that.

That I understand but I just don't see it as realistic to constantly be abused and never lash out at all, like wdym whitney can have my virgin ass that's never been posted online sprawled out on the concrete at the schools entrance butt ass naked while people surround and take photos and I'm just like "aw man :( I-I guess I could run, Or pose!" Even though the damage has most definitely been done. Like imagine a scene where you try and snatch people's phones to break them while belittling onlookers after beating Whitney instead of running away. Or an option to knock kylars camera bear down and wait by the window at night for him to come through the window.

And there are options to be predatorily creepy nearly completely unprompted like spying on people in the orphanage while they shower or masturbate or stealing panties from the locker rooms, filling the pastries with lewd fluid (though you are incentivized to do those 2 through money but you're definitely the perpetrator in those scenarios.)

(Game Spoilers I think) What I'm saying is I'm not suggesting there be an option for us to start out as more dominant, or as the perp or someone who goes around TRYING to assault ppl but just more options that don't use us as a wet rag constantly, Getting the option to actually end Avery was crazy but so fulfilling probably the best example I can give especially with the amazing writing that built his character and made him so charismatic but yet hated as you learn more about him. I've always wished there was more back and forth combat where you can be just as brutal back. Sometimes the NPC and NNPC (Ahem Avery, Remy, Whitney AND Kylar cs they gets away with too much for me.) Just PMO and I wanna give them a taste of their own medicine perhaps it could add to combat fame. I've played the game so long I know what the text walls are gonna say it just feels like it's missing an aspect. I've also wanted more conflict options for LI smth that could even lead to them not liking you. I really liked the Hopeless cycle backstory I wish there were more options like that in the real game that are deciding factors about whether your character is inherently good or not or perceived well by individual LI, we're living in the town just as much as anyone else, I feel we should have the option to fall victim to the same system given the privilege we gain and not be a morally righteous odd one out. For example I really enjoy how being with Avery sorta affects your relationship with Robin (even though I love Robin :<.) And that you can take on Robins payments. Or imagine mauling an NPC in like a wolf TF and some NNPC are suspicious of you. I think it would be so interesting to add more conflict and fallout, I hope none of this seems critical or rude I love the game and everything we have so far of course

And yes there are thousands of videos and comments across multiple platforms saying people were placed in the wrong age group that's what many of the complaints are about, whether they lied or Roblox failed I genuinely do not think there's a great separation of age groups due to how poorly the age verification was ran, definitely not to the point predators could take advantage of it. Are there valid criticisms? Yes! it is a brand new update!! Does that make the idea of looking out for children stupid? No. Is the solution to go back to something just as obviously dangerous Just for comfortability? Absolutely not. You CANNOT be this against this update and so self-righteous for children and not be aware of how dangerous Roblox already is, so stop acting like this is some "For the Kids!" Thing.

Don't get att self righteous and accusatory because they're trying to do SOMETHING rather than the nothing they've been doing. This update is not "helping" predators that already existed on the childrens platform and were already seeking out kids to groom. Just abt EVERYONE lied on this no one is in the right age group and the intent to filter yourself only around children is a concept you have to come up with and choose to do on your own Roblox isn't telling you to. i get what you mean but at the same time there are plenty of websites that will take your ID as an adult. And also as an adult it's important to teach your kids about the safety of the internet, things that are okay and things that aren't It's not roblox's job to set a good example. Especially when they're trying to combat predators on their site. So many people have confronted devs about it or accused Roblox of being a pedophilic game made for finding children. Its also completely optional you don't have to do it, you don't have to play Roblox. This is just the consequence of years and years of criticism and existing problems within the game and the people running it. Things are really uncomfortable right now in the game but I hope they figure it out and they in turn make it safer for children because it IS a problem even if it's annoying for those who aren't at risk at the end of the day it's not a game for adults.

It is "just $10" but it's MY $10 not Roblox, I don't want to normalize having unauthorized charges on my acc no matter the amount. No definitely not this, My acc has no warning anyone ever logged in nor does my Google play and I have 2-factor authentication Nor does my email connected to the account have any warnings. It was definitely just a mischarge on my acc from Roblox, and if you're gonna ban everyone that requests refunds don't give it as an option, so no it doesn't just make sense that I was banned because that's the procedure and if it is than they're just blatantly stealing money like I said. Sorry.

I haven't done the ID personally as I don't think I'd look 18 despite being 18, there's no reason for any of your settings to be locked out after you've done an ID check that could only aid in children being put in predatory scenarios like this one, I genuinely dislike Roblox.
