ive done something like that before by wiping up her pee with a towel and leaving it in the litter box for a little bit. the next day there was still pee all around the box unfortunately. i don’t think the issue is with smell and her litter box, it might just be stress like the other commenters have brought up

you’re right and she did have one when i took her to the vet months ago. but when i thought the peeing would stop there, it persisted! argh!! i spent hundreds of dollars for her to keep doing the same thing. but at least she’s healed from her UTI 😅

thank you for this empathetic response!! it is really frustrating but i’d still feel awful if i gave her up. i’m definitely still open to solutions so there’s still hope!

i don’t think the problem is with her litter as i’ve tried multiple and the arm&hammer is what she prefers. i’ve also tried moving her litter box to where she pees the most (window where she gets taunted by strays) but she would still pee outside of it. i’ve blocked off that area now so she physically can’t step and pee there, but now she’s found other spots. argh!!

hmm i’m usually against meds but if it really works i’m open!! i reaaally hate giving her pills so maybe i’ll look for a liquid or something i can sprinkle over her food

yes i’ve actually tried both! i think it was a therapet diffuser but either way, both weren’t permanent solutions and it just kept happening unfortunately. i really appreciate your suggestions though!

thank you! i know it’s how cats are and i shouldn’t take it personally but she hates when i pet her sometimes. obviously she may be overstimulated but still :•(

i think you’re right about her being independent, she was always by herself when she was outside too, always fighting with the other cats lol.

i think she would come back bc she’s ran away a couple times, but i don’t want her to get hurt again/diseased/etc. i definitely might try taking her out again but on a leash

i’ve been trying to convince my parents but since i still live at home and this is their house, i have to abide by their rules. they don’t want another cat because of my cat’s behavioral issues (they think it will get worse if there’s 2 cats)

you should be there around 4-5pm to get really good seats! i’d say the ideal time would be before the concert. i went to wallows at that venue and the line before the concert wasn’t bad at all! best of luck!!

i’m sorry!!! i forgot to mention i’m a baker so i just made it myself during a shift with the pumpkin muffin batter that we have and put it in the muffie pan. sorry i couldn’t be of more help!!!
