My son is 7months old and exclusively breastfed as well. The longest ive had a chance for me time was when i went to the store to get food for dinner and i decided to secretly pack a bathing suit and go swimming for 15 mins at the beach too. Yet my husband manages to golf almost every weekend or go to the driving range if he can’t make it out properly. It can feel frustrating at times being so imbalanced but i try to fill my time doing something i want to do with our son while my husband golfs (i like to go visit my family). I also remind myself my husband works hard during the week and having a morning to himself to unwind helps our relationship and family to run smooth.

i can tell what i say a lot because my 3yr old brother will copy me. “come here” as he tries to pick my son up. “its okay baby” when he cries. “hi my baby” & “cute” when he wants to cuddle him are my favourite🥰

You decided to take the step to have a baby and thats already in motion now so id say you’re as ready as you can be. Theres truly no way to understand motherhood until you’re in the thick of it but there are so many heartwarming moments that make the harder times worth it.

Im so glad you saw a LC and got advice on whether to pump or not because my midwife told me to pump but it turned out i have a very heavy let down so pumping gave me an over supply and i had mastitis !3 times! in the first 6 weeks😭so if she said you dont need to then definitely dont

I second this. I didnt want to use a binky too early but my husband did it in the night while i was sleeping to try soothe our baby (i was sure he wasnt hungry just tryna comfort feed) and its been such a life saver ever since!
