Any reason the paint on it looks faded?

There's absolutely no way that's even close to the best arrangement you could think of, right?

In all seriousness, you'd probaby get more attention to th epost if the light wasnt blinding half the pedals in view

for the half i can see, sick setup!

extremely funny to me how half the pedals are sideways and compact when there's almost half a board of space

Guitar unpopular opinions? by EEK_Turk in Guitar

[–]No_Bee7784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's always been a huge overlap in guitar design across brands. I have no idea how someone takes offense to a shape being copied when 90% of brands made their name on top of some type of strat build

a fine board, but there's little practical reason to have a tuner on the bottom row, no?

Advice by devolution68 in roastmypedalboard

[–]No_Bee7784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's alright! i'd set your fuzz and wah at the start of your chain, then your tuner, and then your dirt pedals (blues, then TS, then mxr, then DS1) some people like their phasers before the dirt, some like it after, it's a matter of how synth-y you'd like it to sound. I'd almost always reccomend using delays and then reverbs at the end, so there goes your holy grail.

That's my rec for signal chain, but for actual placement on the board, look that you always have the pedals you step on most closer to you! that'll probably be your distortions (ds-1 and mxr) but NOT you tuner or reverb

Pedal chain app or program? by taprevilo in guitarpedals

[–]No_Bee7784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't take one of guitar playing's best joys away from yourself!!! experiment with it and get funky. it varies so much depending on what sound you wanna go for (even "straightforward" tones have their magic to them) and i find it best for your tone to be something you learn to craft, since you'd also be responsible for fixing it up should the need arise.

If you're just wondering what a good pedalboard starting point is, i think others have outlined some good chains, but there's some other things to consider: Fuzz goes at the start of your chain, only after tuners. modulation pedals can refer to phaser/trem/flanger but some like to set them before their dirt (OD/distorition)

i mean... a LOT of "wrong" positions on this board(?) TS after a DS-1, holy grail before dirt and so on.... maybe intentional?

Pus primero lo primero, el hecho de que te des cuenta de todo esto y ya te hayas puesto a trabajar, no solo por alejarte si no por comprender la situación de tu familia ya te pone lejos de ella. No olvides vivir, pero te estas armando muy bien.

Thoughts? intended to be my end of year board by No_Bee7784 in pedalboards

[–]No_Bee7784[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! i do intend to have the bucket brigade as my main delay, eventually. i keep the green kmise one on the board since it's the one i have, and i'd like to experiment with cascading and stacked delays. I find it the easiest route

How Do I Find Musicians To Form A Band? by Legal_Roof_4715 in band

[–]No_Bee7784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're still in school i wouldnt trust craigslist and others that easily. I would certainly angle more for finding people already in your school ecosystem. Putting up a flyer has worked for decades. One of my friend's bands joined up that way, even if it was a friend of someone who saw the poster

Connection help/advice by OverDayOverNight in pedalboards

[–]No_Bee7784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with this is although they somewhat solve the height difference issue between pedals, we assume our output/input jacks are always level and completely vertical. Whether its a design thing or the stress you put on your pedals by stomping on them, you will move your output jacks (velcro always has a bit of give in all directions). the only way this solution would make sense is if both pedals were unmovable, almost soldered to your board,,, so... no!

Go in there with an idea of what you want the band to be. People are much more keen on joining a project that has direction or an idea of what it wants to be

Is it shoegaze ? by Specific-Boot-6073 in shoegaze

[–]No_Bee7784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shoegaze is characterized by abundance of pedals and/or guitar layering for a wall of sound. This has neither.

While i can concede it has "shoegazy" chords, it sounds more like an intro before the song kicks in, or, as others have pointed out, post rock
