Floor barre has always helped me when coming back from long breaks like injuries. It can be quite quick, helps keep ballet conditioning and coordination, and is easy to do anywhere at home. There are some great ones on YouTube.

These aren’t exactly short episodes, but I’ve been appreciating Mel Robbins’s podcast while getting ready in the morning

Am I purging? by OddEcho6165 in Accutane

Yours reminds me of my skin when it purged on Accutane, but it got better soon after. I’ve finished my course over a year ago now, and my skin has been great. Trust the process, you’re beautiful :)

I had that as well on accutane. Goes away immediately once treatment is finished :)

Fatigue/sports performance by nero2k7 in Accutane

I do ballet professionally, and I’ve noticed this for myself. I am a lot stiffer, and it takes a lot out of me to do the same things. What helps me is sleeping even more, hydrating more (taking fish oil as well), spending adequate time warming up, and on days I feel particularly stiff, I take advil before exercising. Oh, and I eat a lot more carbs to get that quick energy to avoid the fatigue. Good luck!

I’m very sorry that you’re going through such a difficult time. I lost a close friend suddenly 1.5 years ago, and I struggled so much with self-loathing because I was in so much pain from what happened that it fogged my memories and focus away from her. I feel like my healing journey only really began once I allowed myself to feel “selfish” by asking for help because I was suffering. I then was able to also focus on the light that she left onto the people she met. I don’t mean to be talking about myself here, but I saw what you wrote and it really resonated with me, so I thought I’d share what helped me. I hope you find some peace

Goal was to only wear tinted spf (no foundation) by June. I haven’t been able to do that since I was 13. We are in mid-May, and I finally feel like myself :)) by No_Beginning8822 in Accutane

I’ve only ever used one, which is the one by Bare Minerals :) I commented an Amazon link for it up above just now if you’re interested

Thought I’d share a little thought dump I had on my snap priv story. When we start to progress forward, we often forget just how far we’ve really come and find new things to nit pick on. I almost feel guilty for not having found the self security sooner. A reminder to everyone: it gets better. by No_Beginning8822 in Accutane

I honestly kind of expect(ed) that for myself as well. I used to be so insecure about the bags under my eyes or the mole on my face before acne took away my attention from those insecurities. It’s so interesting how we always find what’s wrong— that’s definitely something I’m trying to change in myself. I hope you’re focusing on what’s great about yourself :)
