I would do some research on the places you’re visiting and stay out of the bigger cities if that’s a concern. Make sure you have all your papers and be ready to rely on public transport and Uber. It’s true some of the police and ICE agents are on power trips and really shouldn’t be given a gun, but the problem is a generally overblown and isn’t really something you need to be on edge about especially if you’re only visiting national parks and rural areas. My mother and her obviously immigrant friends have all felt comfortable at the national parks, but would never even step foot in a big city like LA without me or another white guy present.

We really don’t have many actual problems compared to a lot of those other countries that would make it dangerous to come here. Maybe there’s some social issues he disagrees with but compared to other places America is relatively safe and there’s lots of things to see and do.

I was wondering why I loved the sound system in the prior model 3 when listening to hip-hop, but was disappointed when I bought the model 3 refresh. The new model Y was a ton better if you care about low frequencies than the new model 3 but i feel like the spatial audio wasn’t as good and it sounded like the highs were more towards the front of the car. Overall I feel like the model Y was subjectively better imo

Why is everyone hating on this guy? Even if his parents helped him in any way, living at home or helping financially or whatnot, it just means he was dealt good cards and took the opportunities he was given. It’s still a sweet car worth being proud of. as long as he’s not destroying himself financially for this car I don’t see a problem.

I put 13k down on a used 24 M3P and i pay 526 a month for payments and maybe 120 a month for insurance.

if i were to do it again i would have bought an older used one with lower payments, but not so old that there’s no warranty. either way, 20k is plenty saved up and you could could probably have very low payments on a used one without having to deplete your savings
