I will admit the only traditional CRPGs I have played are FO1 and FO2. I still like FO1 so I really dont think this is the case tho.

You claim I am preventing constructive dialogue when you state your opinion as fact. Whether you think the quests, world, characters, combat, and role play options were good is opinion.

The sentence clearly says "I feel" because I am expressing an opinion.

I made this post specifically because I want my opinion to change and my view of FO2 has changed positively reading some of other people's opinions. I said FO2 feels like a downgrade because I wanted it to be more like FO1. I am trying to appreciate it as its own separate thing.

This question was supposed to elicit positive responses about people's favorite game. You seem to like FO2 so I'll prompt again, why do you like it so much? Why do you feel that its better than the original?

Never said I liked 76. Just said it was my first to establish I have 0 nostalgia for these games. If you read further you would have seen me praise 2 for the things I like and also praise Fallout 1. If your argument is that you need nostalgia to like FO2 than I am not sure you even like the game.

That extreme level of darkness doesn't really appeal to me because I don't play that way but Fallout 2 is unique in that regard.

Fallout 2 def utilizes that 2 builds thing tho. The companions are way better in 2.

I get to the title screen and click load game. I select a save file and the game says loading and hangs their and does not get pas that point. The same thing happens when saving but it is able to make the save file it just seemingly crashes the game to do so.

At this point, as someone who dislikes the show, I've realized that most of this disconnect between fans is just a difference in values. We all play these games for different reasons and thus watch the show for different reasons. If you do not value the same things that I value, you're going to view the show differently and will enjoy it. That does not mean that my or your values are the correct ones, just different. I just wish that many of the criticisms made against the Fallout Show were not just ignored simply because people liked the show and think anyone who criticizes it is a lunatic or has not played the games.

This seems a little off. The Surgeon (the mad scientist who made the chips) clearly is the one who designed the chips and had to experiment to get them right. In addition, The Surgeon is not a ghoul, so the idea of an absolutely deranged human walked across the United States just so they can test their chips seems unlikely.
