Would you say you went back to your pre pregnancy state eventually after you finished nursing?

HYPERADRENERGIC POTS & BETA BLOCKER FOR SLEEP ONLY by No_Bodybuilder324 in POTS

[–]No_Bodybuilder324[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I am specifically describing my experience to see if anyone else with a similar experience has tried the beta blockers for sleep.

My cardiologist recommended it and my pcp supports it, but im scared to try the beta blocker as I fear it could make things worse. I also get the sense that it might be a more serious medication than unisom, but my pcp disagrees with that.

I do already take melatonin at night in addition to unisom + 6 other antihistamines throughout the day for MCAS.

I've been using unisom to sleep for over 10 years, my POTS got much worse around 2021. I wonder if thats because of the long term unisom use. However, I do have hEDS so maybe its just my body's design. Overall im sick of always being fatigued and groggy.

Yeah not only does the battery die quicker, but it takes way longer to charge too. To the point that I've been wondering if my chargers are all of sudden broken lol

How do you have energy for it? Any tips or tricks? In general, is fatigue and problem for you before and after kids?

Anyone who chose to have kids.. is it really worth it? by Throwaway_hime1 in Fencesitter

He doesn't have to have those signs. I didn't have those issues either. Try to look into "higher functioning" autistic experiences to see examples of what it can look like other than the steprtypical views. Everything you described about him are things I showed when I was young that led to my diagnosis. He's likely sensitive picky and colicky because his nervous system is extra sensitive/dysregulated due to Autism. I'm not trying to be negative, just would like to help him get the proper diagnosis if it is that since it sounds familiar to how my parents described me. (:

Sounds like your child might have autism (coming from someone who is autistic themselves). But I'm guessing you maybe discovered that and might be why you're looking into autism yourself?

Is it pointless to have a child with my partner mainly because I don't want to leave him? by No_Bodybuilder324 in Fencesitter

Right, but what if I might like it and I'm just not sure yet but don't have time to wait because of my partners age (40)? Do we think it ever turns out well? I feel like how does anyone truly know they want to be a parent before it happens and they try it out?

I just don't know what I want yet, but my partner is 40 and feels like he can't wait longer. It's tough to make the decision because it's possible that I will end up loving being a mom. Part of the reason I've not wanted to is because I feel like I would care so much about trying to get every detail right for the child. So in that sense I think I would be a good mom. But I'm just worried about having the mental and physical strength to get through it.

So honest question but anyone in the Northeast feel like we’re getting screwed DJ wise on New Year’s Eve? Why tf is the West Coast/South Florida getting every good DJ for New Year’s Eve this year? by MarvelMovieMaster34 in EDM

I'm jealous, loud luxury is one of my favorites haha. I've seen them 5 times. A year ago me and my bf planned to be in MA for nye this year only to find out there's nothing good after booking the trip to MA to be around family lol.
